Chief Operating Officer

Elaine is responsible for the day to day running of the charity within the Liverpool and Sefton areas.

Elaine has been with Age Concern Liverpool & Sefton since May 2008. Prior to this she was the HR and Compliance Director for a local insurance broker. Elaine has worked in HR since 2002 and studied form 2003 and to pass her CIPD qualification in 2006.She is now is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Elaine’s role is a varied one which includes management of the organisation including all charitable services, HR, training and coordination for health and safety between the Organisation and our external consultants for all sites that we operate from. As the business is so diverse the challenges in terms of the services, HR, training and health & safety are also very varied and can be specialised.

In her personal life Elaine lives with her husband and two mischievous cats. In her spare time she enjoys reading, especially true stories or chick flick novels!

Qualifications

  • Chartered Institute of personnel and development (CIPD)qualified
  • Diploma in Management
  • ACAS Certificate in Workplace Mediation
  • Prince 2 Project Management Qualification
