Are you 65 and over and would like to be involved in some research?
Our friends at Liverpool University are organising 2 separate workshops around medications in older people and are keen for older people to attend to contribute their views.
The events are being held at CRN NWC Office, Liverpool Science Park, Mount Pleasant, Liverpool, L3 5TF on:
6 March 2020, 1.30pm to 5pm
18 March 2020, 1.30pm to 5pm
Each workshop will have about 25 delegates consisting of older people, clinicians and university researchers. Each workshop will have an opening talk on the topic followed by delegates being split into table groups to explore and discuss the topics from their viewpoints. They are hoping to capture these ideas and see which ones they can develop into a research proposal
The group are keen to have a lot of older people who are on medications and those who require assistance of daily living to give their views. Transport can be arranged and there will be a sandwich lunch with tea/coffee/biscuits provided.
