How does the service work?
Once we have received a referral, we will advise about what happens next. This may be a Befriending and Re-ablement Officer home visit (people can access up to 6 weeks of one to one support FREE, followed by volunteer Befriender visits, if required) or information on our frequently run social groups, where people can participate on an ongoing basis.
To access our Reconnect Befriending and Re-ablement Service call us on 0151 256 2549.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer Befriender please give us a call: – 07741 198931 or 0151 256 2549. All volunteer Befrienders are carefully selected, references and criminal records checks are completed and we aim to match people with common interests.
