How does the service work?
Once we have received a referral, we will advise about what happens next. This may be a Befriending and Re-ablement Officer home visit (people can access up to 6 weeks of one to one support FREE, followed by volunteer Befriender visits, if required) or information on our frequently run social groups, where people can participate on an ongoing basis.
To access our Reconnect Befriending and Re-ablement Service call us on 0151 330 5678.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer Befriender please give us a call on 0151 330 5678. All volunteer Befrienders are carefully selected, references and criminal records checks are completed and we aim to match people with common interests.
Liverpool Reconnect groups meet regularly at a variety of venues across the city, giving Liverpool residents aged 65 and over the opportunity to meet new people, have fun and reconnect with your local community.
