Here’s a quick reminder of some of the products and services that our partners Progress Lifeline can help with:
- If the patient is at risk of falls, our falls detector is lightweight and can be worn on their wrist or around their neck. It will automatically detect falls or can be pressed when they need assistance, triggering an alert to our response centre.
- For vulnerable patients, such as those living with dementia or chronic conditions, our personal alarms and range of home safety sensors and health & wellbeing sensors will help them live safely at home, as they trigger an alert to our response centre whenever an emergency situation arises.
- The Footprint GPS Alarm & Falls Detector combines personal safety and falls detection. It’s ideal for patients who need to maintain independence outside of the home too, as the built-in SIM card means alerts will always be sent, wherever they are. The silver button can be pressed to trigger an alert (which includes the patient’s location) and start a two-way call with our response centre for reassurance and to request assistance.
- 24/7 help is always available to patients, first through our alarm response centre who manage all incoming alerts, and second through our Emergency Home Response Service. Home responders are specially trained to help patients back up after a fall if uninjured, or they can request NHS assistance if required.
